[RUMOR] Ryu and Roy Next DLC?

Someone has supposedly unearthed some file names from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS after the latest patch and DLC. They seem to hint and Ryu and Roy being DLC characters in the future!!!

This would be cool! Although I'm not sure how likely Ryu would be, but the file names are interesting...

Another Capcom character?
That would be disappointing.
I mean there's chances if there was another DLC third-party character, it would be only one.
And, if one company got 2 characters, I'd wish it was Tails, and either way, Rayman, Banjo & Kazooie, that's better than Ryu...
And I mean, if they said no to Chrom, why Roy?

^ Well, if it's a major third-party company, I don't know why another Capcom character should be disappointing. Ryu makes a lot of sense and is certainly one of the most currently popular characters that could be chosen. But on the other hand, it would be nice if they added some indie characters so indie games available on Nintendo platforms got more recognition.

But seriously Luma, everybody would freak out if Ryu was revealed for Smash.

People would freak out way more if Banjo & Kazooie were revealed for Smash.

Who's Ryu? and I don't want Roy to come back, I want new characters to enter, not a return from melee.

I'm It's fake since Sakurai said no fighting characters will make it into Super Smash Bros. the new Street Fighter is also not coming to the Wii U and Roy is only liked by a small number of Smash fans. 2 Marth clones also won't happen.

From Street Fighter. I'm also not a huge fan of Roy, and we already have Marth and Lucina who are both fairly similar, there's no reason to add another character who's basically a clone.

This has gotta be real, and it's certainly interesting! I really hope Ryu makes it in, I mean, I never thought about him being in Smash much before, but he would be a really cool addition. And it's pretty obvious at this point.

That sure is major since they took the music straight from Street Fighter. Again we also have to factor in Sony is paying  for the next Street Fighter to be on there systems only and 2 characters per 3rd Party would throw that special rule out the window. It would also be a crime to bring back Roy before Kirby, DK and Star Fox got 1 new character each.

This better be false.
I mean Lucas, a clone of Ness, was pretty sad at first.
But Roy is a Marth-clone, and they cut Chrom, who has the protagonist on the latest game.
And Ryu, is a Capcom character from a fighting series, that's next installment will be Sony-exclusive.
That's like Snake all over again.
Adding one, that'll practically be a Sony-advertiser, and you have better third-party options in Rayman, Tails, Banjo & Kazooie, etc.
I mean Capcom isn't supporting the Wii U, so don't support them.

^ But Luma, your 'Capcom doesn't support Wii U' rule obviously isn't going to matter considering Mega Man is already playable in the game. There's already 2 Street Fighter games on 3DS anyway.

Just like 90% of the rest of the music in the game that was also ripped directly from it's original game. The fact that it was confirmed to be found in the game by other hackers as well since this rumor came about just goes to show it's probably not fake.

We don't know for a fact since there have been many other people who claimed they found something in the game when it turned out to be nothing. Again some new character icons or gameplay is the only way we can take a Smash leak as real at this point.
