Who Should Teach Kids About "Grown-Up Stuff"?

OH BOY ANOTHER WEIRD TOPIC!!!

But seriously who do you think should teach kids about sex? I think teachers should, since they will cover the basics about it and tell them helpful information unlike some parents who could be like "Sex is wrong and bad" or something along the lines of that.

While it is true parents might do that, teachers could do it as well. One time, in health, the techer was sayin' how we shouldn't have sex unless you're married.

It would be a better idea to just let parents do it, if the kids are more comfortable with them then they are teachers, or vice versa.

If a teacher started saying that sex before marriage is wrong then I would guess that maybe you were going to a religious school, teachers shouldn't be able to say that anyway.

What if your parents were the type that don't look after themselves and have sex like every day? Should they be able to teach kids about sex?

Actually, I'm not going to a religious school.

Well, they are more experienced about sex if they have it almost every day.

But perhaps it should be taught by teachers if it's gonna be that way.

Neither seem very good for teching about sex when I think about it that way.

I meant the person who did it with out not knowing anything about it.

Then again that was a bad example

I think teachers should teach kids about STDs and pregnancy and how to avoid it, and the basics of sex. Since some parents have bad teachings about it.

There is sex ed.

Teacher are gonna teach it anyway, so they might as well do that if they're good at teaching it.

But maybe having a doctor teach it could be better than both.

So you would go visit your doctor so he/she could teach you about sex? Wouldn't that be a hassle?

Maybe they could have the doctor come to a school though to teach.

But in all seriousness, leave it to the teachers. Not that I'm bashing on very religious people here, but, don't believe the whole if you have sex you'll explode into pieces and die a horrible painful death...okay that's probably a bit exaggerated, but everyone, if you want to commit to that step without many repercussions, where a condom for crying out loud.

I think most kids find out in school because there was a time when I was in 5th and 6th grade were they would put the boys and girls in different rooms and talk about it.,

I think parents should. If not parent's the kids find out through the internet because sex is just every where on the internet. No seriously. I mean there's even a SONG about it for crying out loud. (The internet is for -CENSORED-.)

Teachers to some extent are good at what they do; which is to TEACH.. But personally I think that the job of teaching kids about sex should be the job of the parents. I know I didn't learn about sex from my teachers; I learned it from my parents first, school second & internet third. XD
