Are you lucky?

This has nothing to do with superstitions, but do you find yourself lucky? (in general)

I believe I am. I don't have all that much money, but I'm still able to live in a fairly nice house with water, wi-fi, etc. My family is pretty supportive of me, my career and future are in a pretty nice place right now. (for the most part haha) I have TNFS and everyone who's a part of it, which is awesome, as well as some of the people I've met as an actor throughout productions I've been in. And usually things sway over to how I want them to be, which is nice. :3

I would say yes since my family is great and it's always nice being a part of TNFS everyday.

I'd say so yea. A lot of things have been going my way & my family cares for me & I have a sweetheart who thinks the world of me, along with a lot of loyal friends irl & online. I'd say I'm pretty lucky all around. :3

Considering a lot of things end up working out really well for me, sometimes out of the blue, I'd say yeah I'm very lucky, really I feel luck plays a big factor in my life.

I'm like so the opposite of all of you.

Well, because you mentioned not superstitions... I don't know.

Can I just say it's just life and not luck?

Over time things have been getting worse though. So, my guess would be bad luck.

I should be thankful I have what I even have.

Although, I DID get lucky with this PS3 I have now. I guess we also got lucky with finding the Gamecube stuff a few days ago. It was in my moms closet and for over a year we had no idea where that stuff was.

^ Well, I guess superstitions can be included, I then realized we'd all just be saying what we're thankful for having.

Like, when we're talking about luck... I think odds of chance, I mean I know in life there is a lot that is played out due to chance, but where are we going to draw the line? 
You might as well rephrase the question as "are you positive about life or not" as when you see luck like that it really is determined by how you see life as apposed to if you're a "lucky" or not. 

That's why when I first saw this thread I was going to talk about  when I hunted for a Shiny Starter in HeartGold/SoulSilver but ended up with 3 shiny Cyndaquil when I wanted Chikorita or Totodile. That kinda "sod's law" type of luck, that's where I'd say I'm "unlucky". 

At the end of the day, one thing we can all say is that we're all pretty lucky we have a nice house, great games to play and an internet connection to talk to people with  when a lot of people don't have that at all... but I feel the soul of this thread should of really been more about the minor cases of luck and unluckiness.

^ Yeah, and honestly, that's what I was originally going for. But I think I was incredibly misleading with the original post being that I was just posting about what I was thankful for.

In terms of that kind of luck, I'm really not very lucky at all. Although, there was one production I had auditioned for, and I wasn't actually being considered for the role they gave me, it was a last minute change because one of the guys auditioning backed out. I feel really lucky for that because it was my favorite of all the roles I've ever played.

(awaits other people to now follow up saying they're suddenly very unlucky) 

I mean, I hope there's some lucky people with some cool luck stories to tell.

Well I've had good luck in Suikoden 1. Usually it takes forever for me to get into Lapant's storage but it only took one time & I was in. Same with winning in chincirorin too: same run of the game too.

I also bought the Pac-Man & the Ghostly Adventures game I've been really wanting to get for cheap: $4 with out really having to keep looking for it (since I wasn't finding it in stores anymore). I also was lucky enough to get the LAST copy of the Legend of Kay for the Wii U in my state too.

My luck is so-so on real life, sometimes fortunes happen, and misfortunes happen too. I'm fine with this though.
