I was able to sleep in myself into 2:30pm (est) so I'm doing good despite having to spring forwards. Some people think that the time switch every year is ridiculous & we should just phase it out over time. But the only problem is that every state senator would have to probably agree to do that, & you know how it is with politicians: they don't agree with any one on anything.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
There was a crowd of people standing around a hole outside of my school last Friday. I found out today two skeletons had been excavated from under the street, drawing quite a few people. Are dead people really that interesting?

@Queen Glitter Fairy
I personally agree with it, as it really doesn't make much sense anymore. Quite some time ago, maybe, but now it just seems like a huge annoyance to those who have to be at work/school early.
@Frost-Knight
Actually yes, I feel like just finding human skeletons like that is really interesting. And they probably want to determine whose bodies they were if possible.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
So I had music rehearsal today, and I did not realize there were so many high notes in my song, so that was kind of crazy. I really can't sing as high as I'm supposed to for some of the notes so I'm going to try to either improve that and try my hardest to sing that high or, because the way my character is, just speak those lines. Luckily with this character it doesn't really matter if I just speak some of the lines.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
Most people find dead people interesting, but I don't see how it justifies gawking at a skeleton like it's a celebrity. Maybe I'm the minority, but I wouldn't my corpse to be tourist attraction. Especially not if it's unearthed in the middle of a city.Zero Revolution wrote:@Frost-Knight

^ I mean, I didn't think about it that way, and that is true. Still, finding dead bodies like that can be pretty interesting, especially when they figure out whose body is was. But maybe that's just me.

There's also the novelty of the CSI, NCIS, Bones & others shows like that so with those kinds of shows being popular with people who watching they think ppls like that will show up to the scene & investigate wha happened. When that's probably far from the truth irl & all.

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
So, today was my dad's birthday. We decided to go out to eat to a seafood restaurant, and the food was pretty good. But the prices...for example, it's $32 to eat at the buffet...per person! So, because of that, the entire thing with 4 people (including me) was around $130. Anyways, I got my dad a shirt, card, and Queen Anne Cherries.
Spring Break is right around the corner, which I will definitely appreciate, and I will definitely have to prepare for Easter, since I forgot Easter even was in March this year.

Happy Birthday to your dad! $35 per person? That's quite the price for a meal. But it is a buffet. Nice to hear it was pretty good. Sea food is tasty.

Happy birthday to him! And yeah $35 is insanely expensive, it's cool you were able to celebrate at a nice buffet though. And those are some nice gifts.
So I'm feeling pretty sick, mainly just congestion though. It's not horrible just kind of annoying because I really need to be able to practice singing and can't because my voice sounds like a dying mouse. :p

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
So I stayed up until 1 am baking cakes which I then sold today as a fundraiser for my organization. Unfortunately we made a fair bit less than we have in the past but it wasn't horrible. We still got a decent amount of money out of it and we're hoping to make plenty more blankets on Wednesday.

I decided to make some home made double doozies for desert tonight which is essentially cookie sandwiches with icing in the middle of them. Mmm, so tasty. <3

Re: The Anything Thread (5)
^ That sounds really good, I actually really want to try that. I might even have to buy the ingredients to make cookies now. XD That's something I want to make this week, thanks for the idea.
