by I think it would make the game more fun generally, because it would give a different way of playing the game... However, I don't see it working with the worlds unless it's co-op on DIFFERENT systems.

It would not effect at all for me. I doubt someone would have ever played the game with me at all and it would have just be something small since a full multiplayer Mario game was not possible back then

Bowser, we're talking the N64 version, not the DS remake. 
Honestly, 64 was a great enough game already.
I would've loved to see how the cancelled sequel turned out, that was supposed to have Luigi in it.

Yes, they were used for only 4 games. The 3 Donkey Konga games and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. They were originally planned to be used with Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast but that was before it was moved to the Wii during development.

I'm wondering why there's no good option without saying they're the best tracks. I thought they were pretty great, especially Big Blue, but definitely not my favorites.

Mute City's pretty boring, but Big Blue is a lot of fun. Both aren't bad tracks, but not the best either.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot about that option. Which is silly of me because I think the courses are pretty good but definitely not the best.
