by I hated it; I thought the show was just terrible. Dan Green was wasted as the announcer's voice in that series impo. I mean I know some people did like it; but personally I didn't like it at all.

I think it's great for an animated video game-based series, it manages to be different from the games, have its own universe and storyline, while still keeping the feel of the original series. While I don't personally love it due to several things that bug me (which are common in most cartoons), I think it easily could have been much worse, and I like it for what it is.

I love it!
Some shows based on games try to combine real game elements and other stuff and it never ends well.
But since this was so heavily based on non-game related stuff with different portrayals it worked out well.

I hope I'm not thinking something Final Fantasy related either. i.e.: Final Fantasy 8 and the song Eyes On Me. Unless that song was just regarded really high and got an award and didn't outsell the game.

I only played a demo of the SNES F-Zero and it was not really my time of game. Some changes would need to be made in the next game for me to retry the series again.

Yes, I've played the original, loved that, it was much better than Super Mario Kart.
Also played Maximum Velocity and GX, Maximum Velocity was awful, GX was pretty good.

I only own Maximum Velocity which is supposed to be the worst one in the series. :p I have played the original however. Never played X or GX but I'd like to at some point.
