[RUMOR] Beyond Good and Evil 2 is NX Exclusive

Here's yet another rumor, although this one is actually pretty interesting. Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been implied to be in development and has been hinted at for years. Destructoid says they have managed to get insider information on a third party NX game being published by Nintendo releasing in 2017, being titled Beyond Good and Evil: Prejudices of Philosophers. The game will be exclusively released on NX if the rumor is to be believed, a la Bayonetta 2.

This is really great, hopefully this is true and Nintendo also has some other third party exclusives in the works for NX. The fact that Beyond Good and Evil did have a GameCube version makes an exclusivity deal just a bit more believable, and the fact that Bayonetta 2 exists makes it seem like something Nintendo would totally do. The game seems like it's existed for quite some time and maybe just been in limbo.

Interesting update! Ubisoft apparently asked Destructoid to remove their article about the rumored NX exclusivity, something they normally wouldn't do for a rumor like this. (I've never really seen companies tear down rumors like that unless they were shown to be full leaks, and even then it doesn't always happen) It seems it might be true after all!

They could have just wanted the rumor pulled since it makes false info go around. With that said getting a 3rd party exclusive NX game would be huge.

This rumor, since Ubisoft asked for it's removal could be true. Still, we won't know until after the NX is revealed, which won't be for quite a while.
