Private events at NYC

The second floor of the Nintendo New York store will be closed until 1PM due to a private event.

I'm guessing this will be something small like a demo for Color Splash or the last Smash Bros amiibo being reveled. So it's possible that a Micro Direct happens on the same day as while.

Okay so now I'm definitely expecting some kind of Direct or big Nintendo news to come sometime this week then. I don't imagine it has anything to do with NX but I could see it being about a Wii U or 3DS game like Color Splash, TMS, or Kirby.

A private event huh? I smell a triple X theme party ya'll! xD Wooo!

I'm thinking it's just a Planet Robobot preview event. You never know though since sometimes private events are planned a few days before a Direct.

If I were to guess I'd say it's related to upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles they haven't really talked much about. It could also be for eShop titles, possibly including Mother 3 just because it'd be a really hyped up Virtual Console game.
