[RUMOR] The Pokemon Company planning a new card-game app for Smartphones

Takashi Mochizuki‏ also shared info about a new Pokemon game for Smartphones.

The Wall Street Journal wrote:Pokémon Co. is planning a new card-game app, two people familiar with the matter said. Pokémon Co. already makes physical cards that players collect and use in competitions. A company spokeswoman declined to comment.

I'm guessing this game will focus on the TCG cards and it seems to be a counter to Yugioh Duel Links.

If it's something similar to the old GB TCG games I'd probably get into them more than the current PC TCG games

This honestly makes too much sense to the point where I have no idea how it didn't happen years ago. I'd say even if this rumor specifically is from a false source, this will definitely happen in the near future. I think it'd work perfectly.
