While I normally would write this off as nothing Reggie did say this in a interview last year.
I recall Miyamoto also saying Retro could make 2 games at once now and maybe the reason we have not heard anything about it is due to backlash on Retro working on another DK or it's a 3D DK game there still working on while they plan to release a new IP before hand.
