What kinds of anime have you watched? Got anime Anime lists? How about telling us about your favourites!

I got a full list of the anime I've watched here, which is about 95% accurate.


As for my favourites... I'd have to go though them and rank them to be honest (which is funny as I plan to go though all the anime I've watched this year~)

But just to point out some:

Please Twins/Please Teacher:
Although yes, separate shows and stories, these little romantic stories are sweet and really touching. It always leaves me wanting more after I've watched it. Both dub and sub are full of emotion and work well with the well written love drama.

Mitsudomoe:
This cheeky anime is by far one of the greatest "slice of life" shows by far. It really settles my humour for when it asks "what about if they went just one step further" when it comes to other slice of life shows. Sometimes a little NSFW, but nothing too bad. It also has them kind of surprising "feel good" moments too... I'd recommend this to anyone (it probably is my #1 anime of all time)

Azumanga Daioh
This anime is by far what sets the standards of a "Classic" to me. This slice of life show has some real loveable characters, each with their own personalties that you can really feel. It never gets too sad, but you can just see the casual yet funny lives of these girls just float by as you watch them grow over their highschool years...

(Fans of the popular "Lucky Star" will love this, for sure)

I also feel a bit high of Rozen Maiden and Haruhi Suzumiya... but I feel it's more because I recently just rewatched them, so they're fresh in my mind.

For me, I don't watch very much Anime. I do like some though. I've watched Lucky Star, Soul Eater (also read the manga), and of course I've watched Pokémon stuff a lot. I might watch Mitsudomoe considering it's your favorite...

My favorite out of those is probably Lucky Star...I really enjoy watching it and it's funny too.

Also, let me add that especially for this thread, you should put Spoilers in the [SPOILER] tags.

Depending on your style of humour Mitsudomoe will ether really do it for you... or you'll be dying to go back to Lucky star... but if that's the case then I'd recommend Azumanga Daioh to you even more so. (... you should probably watch both anyway!)

Also yeah, I agree! Spoiler tags are needed if you plan on reviling a part of the plot... but I'd try to recommend not doing that all together...

I have the manga on Lucky Star and Death Note but I plan on getting manga for the others soon. I have seen a few others too, I just can't remember their name right now or I didn't really like them.

And the Hyperdimension Neptunia anime gets done this year, I can't wait for it.

I really need to get the Lucky Star Manga, It's a lot like Azumanga Daioh I hear... and since I loved that and the Lucky Star anime...

High School of the Dead was pretty funny though, even during its "serious moments". It was bloody good but I don't think it'll be topping my list anytime soon.

K-On is something I've kinda wanted to watch, but when that animation studio did the second series for Haruhi it kinda annoyed me too much and put me off it... the characters lip lines would never be fully connected and they just wouldn't stop bopping around when they talked...

I just recently watched Cosplay Complex. A (very) Short 3 Episode anime about a Cosplay Club.

It's not amazing, but it passes about a hour and a half! It's got some cute characters and costumes (as to be expected from a cosplay club) but the plot really isn't nothing to get hooked too... maybe watch it like I did if you got nothing better to do and feel like an open minded laugh.

It can be a little crude with sexual jokes or top half visuals, but nothing that effects you too much. (I personally found the crudest character "Jenny" the funniest"

My friend told me to watch a really good one that was only 6 episodes, and with my awful memory I can't seem to remember what it is to go out and find it, does anyone know what I'm talking about.

^ Well what was it about? I wouldn't be able to figure out just from the amount of episodes. (well maybe Dark Jester would )

I can't say I've watched a six episode series... A bit more detail would be good! (since it's short I might give it a try, regardless to what it is!)

That's all I was told, I have no idea, I think he said there was some fighting, or something, I'll ask him Tuesday and tell you which one it was.
