    Donkey Kong Empty Donkey Kong

Post by Winters Thief Zero Sat May 11, 2013 8:37 pm

The original Donkey Kong game for NES and arcade was both Donkey Kong's first game, and Mario's (Jumpman's) first appearance ever.

I'm sure almost every one of us has played this before in some way, you can pretty much play it using anything. I always thought it was hard to get to Pauline in every stage, and really only ever got to the second stage. ._.

I only played this game in the arcade years ago.
It just makes you wander how Mario and Donkey Kong became friends.
The highest level I reached was level 4.

I always thought that it was a different Donkey Kong that Mario is friends with, at least it is according to Donkey Kong Country anyway.

And also, was this fairly recent that you played it in an arcade? Didn't think they would actually still have it at an arcade, that's interesting actually.

I know Donkey Kong Jr is Donkey Kong now. But the newer Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr were both in Mario Tennis 64.

I played it seven or eight years ago in the arcade.

The original Donkey Kong= Cranky Kong
Donkey Kong Jr.= Not used anymore
    Current Donkey Kong= Jr.'s son.

So wait, what are you saying Gameguy?
    I'm confused.

Wasn't Cranky Kong the old DK like you said, and the current Donkey Kong was his son? That's what I remember it being. Perhaps I was wrong this whole time...
