Steel Diver

Steel Diver is apparently the free to play game mentioned by Nintendo earlier.

Why else do you think Nintendo is giving it away for free. If they thought the game could be worth something they'd have tacked on a price tag to it impo. So something like this as a "free game" doesn't surprise me in the least. It'd be a free quality game from Nintendo that would've really surprised me to be brutally honest about it.

Well that is true. But this game was already made, this is nothing new. Owners of the 3DS version had to pay money for it. So I wouldn't have thought they'd make the game free for the Wii U.

Better then nothing I guess. I just don't see many people liking Steel Diver after the bad reviews the 3DS game got.

Disappointed too...
I really thought they might have done a Kirby or Metroid game.

But like Gameguy said, better than nothing.

Y'know, I don't see why Nintendo would make this a game on the Wii U with or without a price, as nobody is going to download and play it being as terrible as it is. Plus, I'm sure owners of the 3DS title would be a bit angered at this, they had to pay $40, and everyone with a Wii U can get it for free...

Ha just watched the 3DS trailer and have to say that after I saw it, it made me think: "Omg it's Nintendo's take on Battleship as a video game!!" lmao

^ Yeah one of the multiplayer modes basically is Battleship.

Also, if you saw me mentioning how DS games should come to Wii U, I'm assuming for this it'll work just as the 3DS game did. So using the gamepad as the 3DS touch screen, and TV as the top screen.

So perhaps Nintendo will add DS games to VC...
