Sick folk

Have any of the folk in your town gotten sick yet? I've had two instances where two of my folk have gotten sick the last two weeks. First it was Knox & now it's O'Hare who's sick!!! I've gotten both medecine in both cases but I hate it when any of my folk get sick they always seem so pathetic. XD

Roald got sick twice, and I had to go get him medicine. He was better, and then got sick again like 2 days later. But other than him, nobody else has gotten sick just yet.

I think it's interesting how in this version of the game when you wifi cross with some one even you can't visit with your own folk. In City Folk you could visit with them all you wanted just the person visiting couldn't. I think it's odd that it's changed so drastically. I mean if you live in the same town I'd think it'd be ok to visit with them but I guess maybe not any more. Idk all I know is that it's changed since City Folk.

Oh yea Zero you mentioned this earlier while I was wifi chatting with you via best friend convo via New Leaf; but you said that your character might get sick if they don't get enough rest. I've come to discover that this idea is just myth as I never once got sick in City Folk & have found that only the villagers can get sick & not the player. So don't worry about working too much as the villagers are probably just programmed to 'worry' about your character in this iteration.

So you can't get sick then? I always thought you could, Cookie once told me that I'd get sick if I stay in the heat for too long. So I don't know.

Well at the moment I feel confident thinking that your character won't get sick. I only think that the folk worry about your character to get you more sucked into the game is all. There's a video I watched where the developers of New Leaf were talking about how they wanted the person playing to get more sucked into the game & instead of things happening around them they happen to them thus the changes in New Leaf.
