Petitions & Katie the Traveling kitten

Have any of you had to cross with some one else in order to get a folk's petition sighed or have had to take Katie to some one else's town yet? I have: A LOT.

I kind of wonder what some of you guys who don't wifi just don't have these events come up since you don't wifi with others. I'm not sure since I tend to wifi with other players.. xp

I actually had Katie in my town yesterday, but wasn't able to take her to another town since none of my friends were online at the time. And just today, Roald gave me a petition for other town's residents to sign. (I still haven't done that yet! :3) But what makes me think it still happens when you play offline, is because he gave it to me when I was offline.

Well I for one am not for sure. I mean what if you never play with any one via wifi? I mean I have a few characters I don't wifi with but Katie still shows up anyway. I don't know for sure about the petitions because I don't talk with the folk as much as I do my main file.

You need a petition signed eh? Well your welcome to come to Bacon & get your signatures when ever you need them. Same if you need to cross because Katie is over. You could always pm me and ask to come over as I'm pretty active on tnfs. ;3

Well, I'm thinking that they still appear regardless. You could always take Katie to a local town, and get signatures from another local town, so they'd probably still show up.

I don't, but I feel they should allow you to keep it for another day. Especially considering I only had 7 hours to get signatures for it, a lot of people probably won't be able to get that done in a short amount of time.

One of my villagers give me a petitions for thhe midnight snack group last week but, it sucks how they only give you less then a day to visit a different town and not a full week. It also sucks if Katie comes to your town and you can't take her somewhere different if you don't have Nintendo Network on since she can stay in your town for a full week and take up the guest spot .

^ Yeah, I really think they should either give you more time to take her to another town, or have some kind of special town or place you can go to if you don't have any friends' towns to go to.

Usually if I don't have a friend online who I can take her to who's online that day I usually tell her that I can't help her. With so many people on my friends list playing other wifi games outside of Animal Crossing New Leaf sometimes getting help to take her to another town is almost next to impossible. =/

^ Yeah, it's the same for me. I do see people on my friends list playing ACNL, but it's never when Katie is in my town for me to go over there. (or when I have a petition to have signed) Maybe they should just remove it all together. I guess petitions could be kept to have villagers in your own town who could sign them.

Yea, that'd be nice since petitions in the real world are supposed to be done that way; but ACNL messes it up by making you go to another town just to get it signed. I don't see how getting another town filled with other animals signing a petition; helps your folk's stand on whatever their issue is anyway.. Besides which all the petitions are usually silly so I don't see why animals in my village just can't sign the petition anyway. xp

Yeah, I really hope they fix this in the next Animal Crossing title. But I guess it's a bit late to change it now.
