I'm honestly not quite sure, but I said Turf Wars as it'll be the main mode of play from the beginning, and seems like the standard. Although, Splat Zones and the other ranked battle modes are supposed to be for more advanced players, so I may eventually end up playing those more.

I would say none of the above since I don't think Super Mario will show up until next year and we almost know all the info for over half the list. I guess Mario Maker though since I think they will show people something so that the lines are long at Best Buy again.
