Favorite Mega Man game?

What's your favorite Mega Man title?

I've only actually played Mega Man, Mega Man 2, and Mega Man 9, but my favorite of those 3 is definitely Mega Man 2. I like the bosses and level design better than the other games. Plus the music is AMAZING. :3

Both are great games that have great design and music.

First Mega Man game I ever played.

Are we talking specifically the original series and nothing else?

If so, 3 and 8 are my most faves. I never liked 4-6. 1, 2 and 7 are neutral. And... Never played 9 and 10.

Just the original series, this board is not about any of the Mega Man X, Zero, or really any other Mega Man series.

Man, I LOVED the three for SNES....trouble is, they kicked my arse into the GROUND, heh.   
(Thanks to emulators, though, I can REWIND time and 'cheat' a bit!)
 
 Part 2, on NES, is such a beautifully-crafted game, as well.  I saved-up to get that one at retail, it was $45.99.

My favorites are Mega Man 4/Mega Man and Bass.
I like the former a bit more though.
