Hmm, well I prefer Super Mario World a little bit more. Yoshi had some better Power Ups in Super Mario World than Yoshi's Island (Aside from the Copter) and has Dragon Coins. The Star World was also fun.
Yoshi's Island has a better final boss though.

Note that I only played the first two worlds of this game, but it was certainly not as great as Super Mario World, which was one of the only Mario 2D platformers I enjoyed.
It wasn't bad though, the DS version was much worse.

Super Mario World since it had more levels I liked and it is one of the best games of all time.
