Gracie Grace

Has any one here had Gracie Grace show up in their town yet? BECAUSE I JUST DID! W00t! She's in my town TODAY! (Sep 4, 2013) AND OMG I can't wait to get the Emporium! But first I have to pass 4 fashion checks. So since I passed my first fashion check today I have just 3 more fashion checks to pass before I can get the Emporium in my town.  

Today my fashion check was 'rock n' roll' which I passed with the following combination of clothes: U Are Here dress, Terry-Cloth Do-Rag hat, Ladder Shades accessory, some colorful socks (which are flashy), & a pair of Lace-Up Boots (shoes). Thanks to my using this site: I passed Gracie's fashion check! Woot! *Shew* One fashion check down & three more to go!

So; who else can't wait for Gracie Grace to show up in their town? xp

She hasn't shown up yet. (unless she just did yesterday or today, I haven't played it since Monday)

I can't wait for her to show up, anything that adds on to my town is wanted by me. XD

Well if it's been a full 30 days after TIY has opened & you've spend 100,000 bells at TIY sooner or later Gracie Grace is bound to show. But there's still Gracie's fashion checks to pass: 4 total. So if it's been 30 days since your TIY has opened & you know that you've spent at least 100,000 Bells in T.I.Y then she should show up at your town sooner or later.

Also you can't go to a friends town & pass her fashion checks there. She has to show up in your town for her to even talk to your character about it.

I should spend more money at TIY then. I've had it for nearly a month at this point, I just need to buy more stuff. :3

But for the gardening section there isn't much to spend money on.

I bought lots of items at TIY so I think Gracie will show up a in like 15 days or something.

Surprisingly enough, Gracie showed up in my town today lol. I didn't think I had spent enough money at TIY yet...

I have to say, I truly despise those fashion checks, I have to run around everywhere trying to get as many clothes as I possibly can that match the theme, it's really annoying since I don't keep most of the clothes I get.

So does Gracie just show up on random days? Because she hasn't been in my town since the first day she came to it.

You have to spend 100,000 Bells in T.I.Y for her to show. ;3

Well I knew this was coming before hand so I kept at least a few themed clothes at the ready just in case she ever showed. I figure if she picks a theme I don't have I can just order it from TIY just as long as I catch her early enough in the day for Pete to be able to make a delivery to me so I can change; pass the fashion check & all is well with the world. xp

Yep! Even the website I used in order to help me with my fashion check said that she shows up on random days. You just have to keep checking your town square (where the tree you planted is) to see if she shows up in your town is all. She's shown up in my town ONCE. I've been keeping my eyes out to see if she shows up again since. xp

Oh yea; something I thought I'd mention is that in the Japanese version Gracie Grace is male. For every one else; Gracie is female. Interesting: non? ;3 xD

Well I figured out it was random anyway, as Gracie just showed up in my town again today. :3 I passed the cute fashion check, that was fairly easy considering I already had all the cute clothes I needed except for shoes, and although I didn't find cute shoes at Kicks, I still passed the fashion check.

I might wind up getting my Emporium before you do Queen, despite you having her the day before she came to my town.

I also did know that Gracie is male in the Japanese version. That's just really weird to me though lol.

Well it depends on who gets their fashion checks passed 3 more times first: you or me is what it boils down to really. XD
