Huge increase in Wii U Sales

We're all aware that the Wii U has been selling pretty poorly for the last 9 or 10 months. This seems to be over, as an increase in Japanese sales numbers went from nearly 3000 last week, to over 38,000 this week. This seems to be, surprisingly, mostly due to Wii Party U, which sold 37,000 copies.

Good to see the Wii U is starting to sell well again! Weird that Wii Party U would be a best-seller though. I am worried about sales of the Wii U as if it had continued to sell poorly, it would likely be the end of the console.

I think the sales also want up in the US since Target and Gamestop are sold out of the New Super Mario Bros U bundle on there websites.

It's a good thing it's selling well.

Otherwise, Satoru Iwata would'a committed seppuku.

Yeah I mentioned that. I guess this must just be the time of year people start shopping for Christmas gifts...or they've just been patiently waiting for a Wii Party U and NSMBU bundle to release.

He seems to blame himself for any single thing that goes wrong lol. I knew sales would start picking up when games actually started releasing.
