Although I am a not big fan of getting remakes, there has been some great remakes that I liked even better than the original. On the other hand, there are some remakes which is just stupidly bad. What do you think are the best and the worst remakes? For me..

    BEST: Metroid Zero Mission (GBA)

While keeping the great elements of the original, it added a whole lot of new items and a new scenario to explore post game. Oh, and it also has the original NES version in it. Who could hate this magnificent remake?

    WORST: Sonic Genesis (GBA)

This game is unplayable. What happened to the fast and speedy Sonic? It is even worse than Sonic 2006.

Best: Persona 4: Golden - Adds what original had and just...times it tenfold.

Worst: Something wants to tell me Tales of Phantasia on GBA...

Not a big fan of remakes either...that's why the only remake I've played is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. I think it was just fine, it keeps everything that made the original so great, and also adds 3D and the master quest. Not to mention it's portable.

Best remake: Chrono Trigger on the Playstation console. (Because cut scene's were added & still kept to the way the SNES version played.)

Worse remake: Final Fantasy IV for the DS. (Not only could you NOT rename the characters but the 3D CG character design was just ridiculously hilarious. These characters are supposed to be adults, but their 3D models looked more like KIDS. Ugh. Just plain awful. <.<)
