by The Mega Mushroom has been in Mario games for years now showing up in Super Mario 64 DS, New Super Mario Bros DS and New Super Mario Bros 2 as a power- up and as an item in Mario Kart Wii. The time has come for it to be a Power-up in a home console Mario game even though it's slower then the New Super Mario Bros games. Does everyone like or dislike the Mega Mushroom being in this game? I like it being in this game since it was never in the home console New Super Mario Bros games and was about time them added it to a 3D game that was not a remake.

I think it's kinda cool, although I really don't like the Mega Mushroom. It just allows you to crush everything in your path, and it can not only make things way too easy, but also cuts off secrets sometimes, like when there's a warp pipe you could've previously entered, and you smash it.
