Free-Roaming World Map

How did you like the free-roaming world map in the game?

Personally I thought it was cool, my problem is that nothing really made any interesting use of it and it felt kind of pointless to have it there at all because of that. I still prefer the actual overworlds by far, but it's better than just moving straight onto the next level and being able to move all around.

It's better then the map in 3D Land and the New Super Mario Bros games. I could have uses a few better extras though and not just coins and 1ups.

I liked this concept.
The way they did it all was pretty cool.

I like the 3d world map & think that maybe if more items & one up chances came up more often I'd like it even better. xp
