Did anyone find them to be really dull? I did and it kind of sucks since they could have been great characters have this game had a small story. I just wanted to know why Bowser even want after them and it also seemed like they had a tie in with the hidden character.

Yeah, they are very dull. It's not like I would expect them to have some fleshed out backstory or something, but as residents of an area outside of the Mushroom Kingdom, I would've liked something like the Piantas from Super Mario Sunshine. They would all talk to you and they have a backstory. The Sprixie Princesses are just kind of there because Peach is playable, though.
