Do you use extra characters for storage?

Do you tend to use extra characters that you can create (besides the mayor) so that you have extra storage, or do you pass on creating extra characters because it's too much work to have them visit the town alternatively?

Personally I have a few extra characters that I use for extra storage, but I don't play on their files as much as I do my main file though.

I don't, I was planning to so I could have more storage and another house without paying for it in the museum, but I decided not to after I stopped playing the game entirely. (due to being busy and other games releasing) I do have another file though, I just never used it.

Yea, I have another file that I use for storage. I don't play it that often & I've been thinking about selling all of the stuff on that extra file & giving the bells to my main file & then deleting the file afterwards.

I use a second file for storage only since I try to collect lots of items.
