I'll get this, definitely not right away, but it looks like it'll be entertaining, hopefully moreso than 8 or 9.

I'll get this day one but I really hope it's good. Island Tour was uh... disappointing to say the least.

Re: Mario Party 10
Mario Party 10 will be priced at US $49.99. (so slightly cheaper than full price)
While I'm not buying it anyway, I'm glad it's going for a lower price, it's not worth $60. I believe Wii Party U had the same price so I was kind of surprised it was originally full price. This is a nice price though.

Re: Mario Party 10
I guess it's $50 since the Mario amiibo option will be $60.
Also here's some new artwork.
I'm glad Ndcube made new artwork this time since Island Tour reused old Mario character artwork and Spike getting artwork makes me think that he's playable this time.

Re: Mario Party 10
Spike the guy getting trusted by Bowser this time, interesting...
I guess that means the amiibo bundle will be $60?
I hope it's $50 with the amiibo, it'll save me money.

New trailer
Basically this quote I saw sums it up nicely.
No online is really pathetic, come on Nintendo it's 2015 not 1997.
I have this pre-ordered but I have like no excitement for this at all.
Basically this quote I saw sums it up nicely.
- Forced car mechanic that ruins the board game feel
- No online functionality of any kid
- No single-player story mode
- Only five game boards (to put this into perspective, Mario Party 1 had eight)
- Removal of popular characters like Boo and Birdo
- amiibo support is basically on-disc DLC

Re: Mario Party 10
This is so disappointing.
I mean I'll get it and have fun, but it will feel so different.
No story mode?
And Spike?
Boo, so popular, been around forever, Birdo, don't really care, but still better than Spike.
It's nice to see DK and Toadette back.
But I'd take Boo and Dry Bones or Koopa over Rosalina and Spike anyway.
Spike is just so random.
Boo, Koopa, Dry Bones, Hammer Bro., Blooper, Shy Guy, Kamek, all playable before...

Re: Mario Party 10
What did I tell you guys, it's going to be terrible. No online is pathetic in this day and age for a solely multiplayer game.

Re: Mario Party 10
The only good thing is no story mode, the ones on the past Mario Parties were so terrible. (excluding 5, 6, and 7) I don't get how Spike was chosen over Boo or Dry Bones, and no online? Can't they at least put it on Minigame Modes? I'd rather replay Mario Party 2 than this.

Re: Mario Party 10
^Uh Nessness, Story Mode was a big part of Mario Party.
Unlocking characters is more fun when there is a purpose to it.

Re: Mario Party 10
^ How could story mode be a big part of a party game? It never has been, and never will for any mainly multiplayer game. (it's very rare at any rate) Especially a game like Mario Party. That's probably the one upgrade to this game honestly...

Re: Mario Party 10
How is it an upgrade geting rid of a mode?
That doesn't make sense...
I mean, now there's no story to the game at all.

Re: Mario Party 10
^ And why exactly should there be? It's a multiplayer game, there's no story in Smash Bros. for example. I understand some multiplayer games have single-player campaigns, but I feel that it's pretty much pointless for Mario Party. It's incredibly boring to play alone most of the time.
