What should I do with my download code?

Alright so I get that free Wii U game with MK8. Yeah, I know, I've waited WAY too long to figure this out, but the code expires August 31st. The only games I don't own are Wind Waker HD and Wii Party U, I already own the GCN version of Wind Waker, and I don't really want Wii Party U. So I was thinking I could probably get someone to trade me an eShop card or something of somewhat less value than the game costs, but I don't think anyone will want to... (if you do please say so, that'll be way better XD)

Otherwise, should I get Wind Waker HD or Wii Party?

Did it not expire July 31st?

Look up some gameplay videos if you not sure in what game to get. If you people to play with get Wii Party U and if you don't go with Wind Waker HD.

Nope, you just couldn't get the free game if you registered Mario Kart 8 after July 31st. You have until August 31st to download the code. And thanks for the suggestion...I just have nobody to play it with so it almost seems pointless. (unless I could get some of my family to play maybe? XD)

Well yeah, I mean I already own Wind Waker on GCN so I know exactly what to expect. But I feel like Wii Party U would just waste space on my Wii U. This is why I wanted to trade my code for an eShop code. I wish Nintendo would let you do that to begin with anyway. That way I would be able to do it easily.

You could hold a tournament & who ever wins it would get the code is what I suggest. I know you don't want to be out the game or money you could be out for it alternatively.. But I'm sure giving out the game as the prize for winning a tournament would probably make a lot of members excited & want to join in.

Alternatively I also suggest Wii Party U since Wind Waker HD is just a watered down version of the GC version of Wind Waker which I absolutely loathed.. I loved the GC version & all Nintendo did was just water it down in order to include HD. Get something else: ANY THING else would be my advice: alternatively to giving the code away.

^ Yeah, I mean, I like the tournament idea, but I'd rather not say that there's a tournament today and have the winner get the card. Nobody would know about it. So I guess that's pretty much out of the question now. Thanks for suggesting that Queen, wish I had thought of it earlier! XD

So I guess I'm going to end up getting Wii Party U. I just want to get SOMETHING or I'd feel completely left out of this awesome free game deal. I just wish it were a game I actually wanted, rather than a Wind Waker remake and Wii Party U. >_> Oh well.

Yea, but if you could get any free game you wanted that would be more along the lines of something Sony would do not Nintendo; just saying.
