Microsoft Buying Out Mojang

Microsoft is in the process of buying out Mojang for US $2.5 billion. If you don't know, Mojang is the company behind Minecraft...and that's pretty much it. And yet Microsoft is still doing this. They're supposed to announce it Monday I believe. Source

I think this is pretty much pointless, yeah Minecraft continues to sell, but not much, they're not going to make much of that money they're spending back. Of course, Mojang can always develop new games, but I can't see any of them being that successful. (or at least to Minecraft levels)

Wait and see, I guess. Microsoft might be able to revitalize Minecraft, but they'd also be very capable of ruining it. Their corporate business model is far removed from Mojang's indie culture that helped to make the game as successful as it was.

Idk I think the only way M$ can make the money back on buying out this company is if they have them make a Minecraft 2 & it only be exclusive to the XBONE.
