Character Roster

What do you think of the character roster in Super Smash Bros. 4?

Personally, I have mixed feelings about it. I like how they added a lot of strange but unique characters like Wii Fit Trainer, I mean, I never would've expected to play as Wii Fit Trainer in Smash Bros, yet there she is. I think it's cool that they did that, even if some of them are very strange choices. On the other hand, they removed a lot of characters I liked, like Ice Climbers and Lucas. (especially Ice Climbers) And most newcomers are not what people have been wanting forever. I mean, why is Ridley STILL not in the game yet? A lot of clones are also there, Dr. Mario and Dark Pit are some of the worst character choices ever.

My favorite additions are Villager, Rosalina, Palutena, Robin, and Shulk. I guess Duck Hunt Dog could be kind of cool...

I find to be the best roster since there was a time when we thought the roster would be the same size as Brawl's roster. People have also wanted an Animal Crossing character, Mega Man, Little Mac, Palutena, Pac-Man, Bowser Jr and Duck Hunt for years so 7 wanted characters where added and maybe there's some other new fighters that are going to be DLC or you have to leak the games to unlock them. Lastly Dr. Mario and Dark Pit where likely last minute adds so there would be less characters without them.

The newcomers I really like are most of them minus Dark Pit but, he could end up being one of my most used characters when the game comes out for all I know.

And why did they bring Jigglypuff back...
There is no rule that every original character needs to return...

Save that, classic characters like R.O.B., Duck Hunt Dog, kind of cool.
