Demo

For everyone that played the demo what did you think of it?

I thought the demo was really good and I enjoyed playing as the Villager since he has a ton of moves from his game and his recovery is great. The past characters also seem to play better then they did in Brawl.

I LOVE IT! My first thoughts when I started a match were that it looks way better than it does in screenshots or videos. On the 3DS itself, it actually looks really great, and I love the 3D effect. I love using the Villager because of his unique moveset. (I love that Down + B move where he can grow and cut down trees, so much fun to do that)

Villager is the one I played the least, but I get annoyed how the demo shows everything and everyone you can't play with but it only lets you do a 2 minute match with 5 characters on Battlefield.

^ Yeah me too, I guess it's just their way of trying to make you want the full version more, because they're showing you everything you can't have in the demo.

They don't show Duck Hunt Dog in the demo.

Though I also hate showing everyone, but only giving us Mario, Link, Mega Man, Pikachu and VILLAGER?
Come on!
Kirby is a classic hero, why is Villager in the demo?
Anyways, I like using Link actually.

^ Uh, because Villager and Mega Man are newcomers, they wanted to give you a couple new characters to try out in the demo, which I thought was nice of them, because now I've absolutely fallen in love with Villager. They only show the characters that will be available from the beginning in the final game.

I still wish the Wii Fit trainer was in the demo, I'd have loved trying her out to see if I actually enjoyed the style.

^ Yeah, actually, she should've been there too, since she was one of the 3 initial newcomers when the game was announced, as Mega Man and Villager are. But oh well, I guess they just didn't want to have a lot of characters so as to not ruin the excitement playing them in the final game.

It should have every playable character from the E3 demo but, I think it was only those characters since that demo crashed often so they had to make a new one.
