What are your opinions on the new style of Adventure Mode introduced in SSBM?
I thought it was pretty cool. It's definitely better then the original mode, but it's way too easy.

Totally agree with you Razor, the only thing that I hated was when you had to do it a second time. VERY VERY cheap way to extend gameplay.

I wish that the Subspace Emissary was more like this, it could've been so much more awesome if they used more of the character's worlds with their enemies as well not just bosses. Like Ice Climber's portion had polar bears, and Zelda's portion had Redeads and Octoroks it made it feel like more than just a simple thing that it was. So I thought it was good, though I feel it could be longer.

I didn't really like it, I wish it was more like Subspace Emmissionary.

I loved the Melee Adventure Mode. Much better than the SSE of Brawl in my opinion.

The reason for this is because the Melee Adventure Mode actually felt more like a tribute to Nintendo's history through its diverse worlds and characters. The SSE was a typical villainous story that sported rather dark worlds (which I personally was not a fan of).

I prefer the colourful Nintendo worlds and iconic enemy characters over the gloomy stages and new enemies of the SSE. I do hope that SSB4 makes the adventure mode more related to the actual Nintendo worlds like Melee did as opposed to wherever Brawl's adventure took place in.

^ Exactly. I thought the whole point was for it to be more Nintendo themed. Razz

Which was the main complaint people (including me) had about it. If they even threw some space pirates, some kritters, some waddle dees (they already had the model in for those) then it could have been so much better.

I prefer this over SSE. It feels more Nintendo and the challenges are fun.

I will agree this was better than SSE but damn, if you were going for all trophies it was tedious as hell to play through this with all characters. I think the time consuming parts are Mushroom Kingdom and Underground Maze.
