Some amiibo's getting less stock?

It seems like some of the less popular characters will not be stocked that much or at all sadly.

Here are the ones I have seen at the stores the last 2 days.

GameStop: Mario, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Peach, Yoshi and Samus.

Best Buy: Mario. Link, Pikachu, Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Dk, Samus and Fox.

Toys R Us 1: Mario. Link, Pikachu, Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Dk, Samus and Fox.

Low Stock: Wii Fit Trainer

Sold Out: Marth and Villager.

It seems like Walmart, Target and Toys R Us have stopped stocking Marth Villager and Wii Fit Trainer now sadly.

Can't be ordered online: Marth

Toys R US 2: Mario. Link, Pikachu, Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Dk, and Samus.

Sold Out: Fox, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager and Marth.

I also talked with a worker at Toys R Us and they told me that thet only got 3 Marth's and Villager's in stock.


Villager and Marth are the rarest ones since Nintendo thought they would not sell that good I guess and there not as popular as the others.

I saw the Villager on launch at Meijer (the store I bought my Samus at); but now of course he's out of stock. I can't seem to find Marth or Wii Fit Trainer. Though I can find Fox McCloud at a Toys R Us that I usually shop at though. I have a friend who requested Marth for Christmas; so.. Good luck finding & getting him at this juncture is my guess. XD

Yeah it looks like not many people will be getting a Marth Amiibo. I kind of liked his one, so I'm a little disappointed I have to say. I'll likely be trying to find Link, who should be fairly easy to find according to your little list there Gameguy. As for Villager who I also want, I'll just have to hope I can find him somewhere I guess. It seems like the Mario, Zelda, Kirby, and Metroid characters will be really easy to find though, for all the sets.

The only place Marth can only be found is Amazon and eBay at high prices.

I saw a few Villagers at Walmart the other day so I guess he will be more popular at set stores.

^ Well, I think Villager would be a bit more popular by now, Animal Crossing is one of Nintendo's best selling series as of late. (especially New Leaf)

Maybe Josh is right about Nintendo switching Smash Villager out for Animal Crossing Villager.

Since wave 2 is reported to come out on the 14th. I feel like Captain Falcon will be the next Marth, Pit will be the next Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac will be the next Villager. Diddy will be the next Fox, Zelda will be the next Peach and Luigi will be the next Mario.

So this will be how hard they are to find.
Ultra Rare: Captain Falcon
Super Rare: Little Mac
Rare: Pit
Common: Diddy
Always in stock: Zelda and Luigi

Hm, if you're right, I might have to pick up Pit on launch day. We'll see...for now he's the only one of wave 2 that I want.

Well the only amiibo's of wave two that I want are: Zelda & Luigi cause I'm not a fan of the other character's that are releasing really. ^^;

It looks like Pit is the Ultra Rare one since he can't even be ordered anywhere right now. Falcon, Mac and Diddy are low stock everywhere so I guess Nintendo did not make much of those 4.

Of course, the Amiibo I wanted most that released this year is the most rare of all. >_> Oh well. Did you not end up getting Pit then?

Of course Toys R Us had to cancel my Falcon and Amazon put Mac up when I was helping my family with things. At least I got a Pit before Amazon sold out though.

^ That sucks, but at least you got Pit. Maybe you'll be able to get Captain Falcon soon?

I just got my Pit in, Falcon is coming at some point and my dad will be getting my Little Mac.

It's also worth noting that Mac is going down the same path as MTV.

Zelda, Diddy, Mario, Peach, Yoshi and Pikachu. I also saw a upside down Yoshi.

My Falcon amiibo came in today and my dad sent me a text last night saying that my Mac amiibo came in. So when I get Mac from my dad I will have the full wave 2 set. I'm sure there will be a few wave 3 amiibo that are hard to track down though such as Shulk, Lucario, Rosalina, Meta Knight and King Dedede.
