^ Yeah I'm just taking it slow, last year I used up all of the good characters right away, and I don't want to do the same thing again.

Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country for Super NES, while certainly being a fun and creative platformer in multiple ways, is mainly on this list due to it's graphics and artstyle. At the time, 3D graphics like these were unheard of, and it was especially crazy that they could be done on a 16-bit console. Rare, the game's developer, made fully 3D character models and turned them into sprites, giving it a unique look and feel that some games tried to copy for a couple years after release. (of course until more powerful hardware that could have full 3D graphics was released)

Though I preferred the later two DKC games, the first DKC is still a masterpiece. I've got to replay it later on.

Crash was a good game for it's time though even if it did not age while. As for DKC that was one of the games that brought out the power of the SNES even though the other DKC games where better.
