Gas prices going down?

So, in my area, gas prices have gone all the way down to $1.95 per gallon. Just a month ago (maybe even less) it was over $3! It's insane how much it dropped in price. I haven't seen any news stories about it...have gas prices gone way down for everyone else too?

Funny thing, my mom apparently went to a gas station when the price had just dropped that low, and there were cars completely flooding the station, and drivers yelling at each other for going before they did to get their gas. Razz

It's crazy. (this was a few days ago though)

The cheepest I have seen is $2.25 sand I feel like the prices will jump up when Summer starts.

It's going down here too, but it hasn't been quite as extreme. Probably because fuel is taxed so heavily here.
