Super Paper Mario

This was the wrost Paper Mario for me but Iliked the story and chapters but the gameplay was very bad.

I agree it's the worst, but I think you need to elaborate on that post a bit.

I liked the turn-based battles of the first two games, but I guess they just wanted to try something new for once.

Alright, this game is obviously considered the black sheep of the series due to it's lack of RPG elements, and new gameplay style. Agreed that the older style was bad, I feel if this game wasn't labeled as a Paper Mario for it's gameplay style it would've been a fairly good game. The 3D flip was stupid considering the other two were in 3D the entire time. By no means is this game bad, it's story and puzzles still work very well. It's just, when compared to the other two, this one is this one is no where near up the ladder of greatness.

Bad?!?!?!?!?! You guys all think this game is bad? I think it's excellent. I love the old school game play element about it & how you lvl up based on how many baddies you beat & the new style (impo) I loved & thought was great. I loved the main villain even if he wasn't really the one you need to worry about & the surprise twist at the end. if any of the paper Mario's are bad it's the one for the N64 since it's not as good as some of the others in the series are.

^ Well I mean, this was in 2012, my opinion has changed on the game since. I never said it was bad anyway, it was just my least favorite at the time (before Sticker Star released XD) as I'd really enjoyed the first two games. I like the story and the new mechanics, but I LOVED The Thousand Year Door so much that it just doesn't do it for me as much is all. :p

Thousand Year Door was great but it's just a copied version of the N64 one that came out before it; just with a different story plot. All of the friends you can recruit are basically exactly the same. So yea I love it too but not as much as Super Paper Mario. <3 So, we can agree to disagree. ^^V

^ I feel like TTYD was vastly improved over the N64 version though, as much as I liked that one too, the plot was actually different (whereas 64 just had the same old Peach gets kidnapped storyline with the great characters to spice it up) and the areas were just a lot more fun to explore. The battle system was also pretty much perfected, which is why I didn't really like how Super Paper Mario got rid of it completely in favor of the real time battles. I like that they tried something new for it, and it does work well, the story is good, I just still like TTYD a lot better.

I would say Sticker Star is the worst now. Since this game had the best story out of all the games and I liked the idea of playing as more characters then just Mario. One of the only things I did not like is how the pixels where just kind of there after they joined you since the old partners played a role in the story in past games.

I actually liked this game a lot.
I'd say it's just a bit better than TTYD.

While I never played this game, I woud like to play this game at some point. The gameplay doesn't look that bad for me actually.
