Tembo the Badass Elephant

It seems like this postcard has been send out to a few people hinting at a collaboration. Details seem to be coming on March 11th.

This should be cool to keep an eye on even though it's likely a mobile game.

I wish there was a Gamefreak close to the area I live. There used to be one but it's now since been turned into an AT&T wireless store. D: Still, I hope something kewl comes form this collaboration. ^^

Hmm; my guess would be the announcement of SEGA buying out Gamefreak to help get it back on it's feet. Or at least that's what I'd like to see happen form this 'collab'.

It could be a Sonic exclusive or something like that.

They make the main series Pokemon titles...I'm wondering if maybe it's a Pokemon crossover with a SEGA series (Sonic is doubtful but I guess you never know) It could also just be a huge Pokemon RPG, as SEGA would be a good company to help out with the world structure and design.

Well, at one time there was a game store called Gamefreak in my area. I completely spaced on the company that does the Pokemon main series having the same name. XD

In what way do you think this will be revealed? All we know is it will be March 11th...I'm going to guess they'll just make a press release or something. Maybe a Nintendo Direct if it's for a Nintendo console. (pretty sure Game Freak hasn't made anything on other platforms)

I think what will be revealed will be a cross Sonic & Pokemon game. A game in which Doctor Robotnic has roboticised all of the Pokemon. But there's help yet because Sonic show up in the game to help Ash take on Doctor Robotnic who's teamed up with Team Chaos in order to enslave all of the Pokemon for the use of TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION!

Or maybe I'm being over dramatic. Or.. Um.. I dreamed up something from out of my a**. XD

A Sonic and Pokemon crossover game would be the strangest crossover to ever happen. Ever. But if that ends up being what it is, I'll probably die.

Welp; today is the day for the BIG reveal of whatever collab this is going to be. So, when ever the news hits for it: it's going to be good.

Tempo The Badass Elephant sauce

Tembo the Badass Elephant is a upcoming game made by Sega and Game Freak that will be released this Summer . The game is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC at this time.



Game Freak and SEGA have revealed Tembo the Badass Elephant, which is their collaborative project that was teased a couple weeks back. Unfortunately it's not coming to Nintendo platforms. Here's an interview with Game Freak's James Turner explaining why. Thanks to Ben for the heads up!

GameReactor: Why is your new game not coming out for Wii U?

JT: When I was writing the presentation documents for this game, I drew a mockup poster, and I put the Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox logos at the bottom. It seemed to fit, and it happened to stick that way. We thought about other hardware during development, but our hands were pretty full with those three platforms!

GameReactor: Are you planning a version for iOS, Android or 3DS as well at a later point?

JT: Information on the potential for other platforms is classified. Right now our main mission is deployment on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Please look forward to Tembo, it's going to be great!

It seems like the team that made HarmoKnight is behind this game. Also it's a bit strange how a 3DS version is not in the works after so many indie games sold good on there.

Whether it hits Nintendo platforms or not, I don't care.
