Favourite video game endings

The title explains it all.

What are your favourite endings in video games? And please use spoiler tags if needed.

Some of mine are:

Xenoblade - not quite the type of ending I expected, but it was great.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - a (fairly) happy ending for a darker game, the music really helps too.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - a good and happy ending, with one pretty sad scene.

Kirby Super Star Ultra - I like the endings for most of the sub-games.

The Last Story - I just liked it.

I could mention quite a few others, but I think those are enough.

Honestly, I haven't played a game where I truly loved the ending. I haven't really played a game where there's a huge unexpected plot twist at the end, something which would be really cool. But I thought the ending for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door was cute, and most Zelda games have decent outros.

I did like Kid Icarus: Uprising's fake ending though.

Earthbound, I liked going through the towns by yourself after defeating the final boss. I loved listening to the villagers saying thanks to me for saving the world.

Endings of games I enjoyed were; Xenoblade Chronicles, Xenogears, Xenosaga 1-3, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 6, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, & all of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon endings I love. <3

The Persona 3 ending is one of my favourites, even though it's really sad.

Portal 2 is one of mine. I probably shouldn't spoil it in case anyone hasn't played it - even though it's nearly four years old now!
