So for those of you who own the game already: what do you think so far?

I'm still pretty interested in it, despite some mixed reviews, I think it could be a relaxing and somewhat enjoyable game. I do like designing rooms in my New Leaf house, but never really had enough room to do anything interesting. Plus this allows you to design more than just houses which could really switch it up.

    This game was so disappointing.

I was expecting some kind of game like New Style Boutique but instead I got a tech-demo for what home designing could be in future AC games. (Which is vastly improved, but don't sell it to me for £35)

The animals simply don't pose any challenge, what's the point in setting a theme when you can not only change the theme but you don't have to follow it in the slightest!

I personally will stick to AC:NL over this any day, but at least home designing will be cool in AC Wii U!

^ Yeah I've heard about how you don't really need to stick to the theme, I understand the point of Animal Crossing is that you can do what you want, but this is a spin-off, I feel like it'd be much more fun if you were actually judged on how you put it together based on the theme. (maybe not to where it's a great game, but still better than the state it's in currently)

So this one day I was just walking around being a little rascal thinking about video games and I get this super great idea:

Why couldn't they make Digsby the head of complaints and then the player has to fix the homes that Lyle designs. You can't add or take away any furniture, just try to move it around so things like beds are accessible or things are made into the right colour or something.

At least that would be making you think... it'd be teaching you how to make better homes while being an actual challenge you could get wrong.

Bam, instant improved gameplay I thought of in mins.

Monster Hunter items are coming to Happy Home Designer in November!

That's nice, this is probably their way of paying them back for having the Animal Crossing crossover content in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

That's a nice thing for Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing fans. I would rather see more Nintendo items though.

    That sounds weird and random...
Huh... though I wonder what will be included...

I agree. Having Monster Hunter content in Animal Crossing sounds weird to me. They don't seem to fit together at all. I guess it depends on the items, it could turn out really good.

The game getting that content is nice though.

Does anybody else own this game?
I was wondering whether it's still possible to design homes for Louie and Felyne, since I've done Claude.

^ I didn't know you owned it! But no I don't, you'd have to ask Gameguy.

My sister just got it last weekend, I actually love the game!
Makes me consider getting New Leaf next year.

^ You should! It's so much fun. Of course, home designing is way easier in this game from the looks of it. Hopefully they'll put the system from this game into the next full-on Animal Crossing title.

I still want this, although there's definitely games I'm putting above it in priority.

You can get Louie through Spotpass and you have to wait until the Monster Hunter crossover happens for Felyne.
