Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

Mario & Sonic is returning once again for Rio 2016's Olympic Games.



This series just seems horrible, so I'm not interested in the slightest, especially considering this is like the 5th game.

Strange, Nintendo removed the trailer.

Either way, I'm really excited!
I loved London 2012, never expected another one, so looking forwards to it!
Nabbit, Diddy Kong, Jet and Rouge are playable!
I really can't wait....

I like the Winter games more even though the last one sucked. I see  they added Golf though and Zazz seems to be a rival.

Here's the translated trailer along with some new info.



- Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U
- 100 meters, rhythm gymnastics, table tennis and football/soccer shown
- Wii U exclusive sport will be rugby, the Nintendo 3DS version will have Golf
- More to say on the game in the future

It sucks Golf is only in the 3DS game. Though Rugby does look more enjoyable.

The game will also be coming to arcades, in addition to Wii U and 3DS.

I guess SEGA really doesn't think they're guaranteed sales on Nintendo consoles anymore. :p I mean they can't really expect it from a game like this. I'm wondering if it's the whole game though, or just part of it.

I think SEGA's just searching for money.
They had an iOS version of the 2010 one for a while that had no Mario elements.

It was just called Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games.

Here's a new trailer. From what I can see it looks like Rosalina, Wendy, Ludwig and Dry Bones will be added for team Mario.



We could be looking at 12 newcomers in all and that would bring the roster to 32 characters in all.

Or all the Koopalings.
Sticks was also there.

If all the Koopalings are there, no doubt the Deadly Six will be too, considering we already saw Zazz.

We now know the full roster, how many Mii costumes there are, how many events will be in the 3DS version and what amiibo do.

I guess the Koopalings and Deadly Six are not an all or nothing deal for Sega and the amiibo support is kind of lackluster.

So only four Koopalings and two Zeti?
I'm glad Dry Bowser, got in, Espio, Dry Bones and Jet as well.
I'm just disappointed Morton didn't get in, Charmy as well.

The Wii U version is coming out in June.



At least there taking there time with the Wii U version and I hope the full roster can be used for all of the events.
