Zero's Top 5 Wii U Games

I'm now going to list my top 5 Wii U games! I do want to note that, while I have played plenty of big Wii U titles, I still have yet to buy a few such as Bayonetta 2 and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. So obviously I can't list either of those games (or a couple others) because I have yet to try them out. I'll be updating it daily until I reach #1.

Hyrule Warriors

At first I dismissed Hyrule Warriors as a simple and repetitive beat-em-up. But after deciding to buy the game, I fell in love with it. Each character has a unique feel and, although 80% of the time you're just defeating enemies, these movesets make it feel very enjoyable compared to other similar games. (including other Musou games specifically) The Adventure Mode is what kept me playing for quite some time, giving you certain objectives to complete, and it's incredibly difficult.

Hyrule Warriors is a good game even though it does get a bit stale in the extra modes. Also I'm sure Mario Kart 8, Pikmin 3 and Splatoon will be the top 3 games.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

This may seem low to some of you, but I honestly didn't enjoy Smash Wii U as much as most people probably do. Of course, that doesn't stop it from still being in my top 5, it's a great game by nature of it being Smash, I just felt it wasn't much different from the previous games. It's incredibly fun to play and kept me entertained for quite some time even without playing online much (outside of those TNFS weekends)

I think people don't look at all the factors when they say Smash Wii U is the less changed and it's not a bad thing since the game was one of the best rated in years and sometimes change is bad as seen with how people trashed Brawl. I do agree with the online being behind the times though even though we both do have the best interent speed.

Mario Kart 8

Mario Kart 8 is the best game in the entire series. While I've enjoyed each one, none of them were quite as creative, making this one stand out. Not only that, but all of the mechanics in past games return and are now perfected, with the addition of anti-gravity. I've played 120 hours and I'm sure I'll play more in the future.

MK8 really deserved its spot here, especially with its newly added 200cc mode. I think defnitely Splatoon is going to be either first or second.

I haven't played much MK8, but with what I have played it just didn't give me that rush that MKWii did or feel as enjoyable as MK7. That being said, I have not played MK8 online so that could be why.

^ That's probably why. Online, especially in 200cc, just feels fantastic. I do wish the single player/local multiplayer was better or as fun as it is to play online though. Of course it could just be that you preferred Wii...although I really feel like 8 is just a much more refined version of it.

I also agree that Mario Kart 8 is a good game though the lack of offline modes kind of makes it rank a little lower if you ask me.

I like a lot of the courses but after some time I just get outright bored with it; but I can see the appeal of it for those who enjoy racing games though. :3

^ Well the thing is, I don't really like other racing games. XD

Pikmin 3

I absolutely adore the Pikmin series, and this is my favorite. It really feels like you're exploring an abandoned world with the Pikmin. Not only that, but you have to strategically think how to get around obstacles, enemies, etc. How many Pikmin should I use? Which type? Should I attack or try to go around it? I also love the graphics. (sooo pretty :3) It's fun to try to collect all the fruit, go through conversations with your 3 captains, and do so much more. Ugh I just love this game to death I'm not going to say everything. XD

That's it, number 1 is Splatoon, unless the sun rises from the west.

I've played all 3 Pikmin games and of all I have to say 3 is my favorite! :3 I was really excited to play it. If not for SSB4, I'd say Pikmin 3 is my most fave Wii U game.

And BTW, if you're wondering how I'm able to play all these, my cousin had a Wii U. They ended up getting rid of it though.

I really enjoyed the multiplayer in Pikmin 3 a lot  (⌒o⌒)
