I'm not suprised FF7 made the list since it's the best game in the series for most and you talked about it in the past.

Re: My fav games thread
Since ff7 took your 3rd place spot, I now really have no idea what the 2nd and 1st places will be. Hope I will get to learn some new PS1 games

Re: My fav games thread
Now onto number two.
2: Chrono Trigger (Which is a part of the Final Fantasy Chronicles: Chrono Trigger | Final Fantasy IV compilation)
Not that FFIV isn't great it's just not my favorite of the Final Fantasy's. The character of Kain waffles between being your friend or being your enemy & I hate that about the game: pick a side already Kain! <.< You also have to fight against Cecil's inner darkness & all you can do is just defend else wise he gets killed & it's game over: so lame. Yea, some of the story is pretty good & some of the characters are great such as Rydia & Rosa; but otherwise I'd say try it if you want & go straight to Chrono Trigger; because it's so awesome. Time traveling, saving the world from a dark evil, & a bunch of animated cut sequences? Yes please! If you would like to play a game with a bunch of characters you can recruit through out time, a classic RPG, and a very in depth story then Chrono Trigger is for you. :3
(There is also a definitive version of this game that's very available for purchase for the DS if you ever want to play it. :3)

I guess it's always nice to have 3 games in one and it's to see you like a underrated game in the series.

Re: My fav games thread
-Drum roll please- And now it's time for number ONE!
Final Fantasy VI
-Part of the Final Fantasy Anthology -
Yep; my number one favorite PSX title is FFVI. Yes, you can technically play the SNES version of this but I feel that the PSX version is the more superior one. There are new character models, new animated 3d sequences & more as you play this. The story is so good & all of the characters are great; just everything about this game is perfect & Kefka is a joy of a villain even if he is a bit of a psycho. XD

Re: My fav games thread
Yes, yes, YES!! Final Fantasy 6 is definitely the best Final Fantasy, and I'm glad that it's your favorite too. I never played the PSX version, so I wonder how the cutscenes are going to be.
Next is PS2 right? Can't wait for it.

Re: My fav games thread
I just feel so left out not having played many Final Fantasy titles. XD I'm sure they're great being that they're so high up on your list though, and Nessness called FF7 being in the top 3.

Re: My fav games thread
First of all we'll start things off by my doing something different; with so many great PS2 games I won't be able to mention all of them that were really enjoyably great games. So for these titles that I feel deserve some gaming love I will give them an honorable mention.
After this post I'll start my top 10 list. :3
Honorable mention's go to the following two titles: Kya Dark Lineage, & Beyond Good & Evil.
Kya Dark Lineage gets an honorable mention because the story is very engaging & the game play is really enjoyable (impo). It's a very unknown PS2 title & deserves a little shout out. :3 The other title Beyond Good & Evil was also released on the Gamecube so if you wanted to get the Gamecube version & play it I suggest you try it. I really enjoyed the game play & the story was a bit wierd if not interesting. xD

Re: My fav games thread
Well not to add some salt to the wound but there was an HD remake of Beyond Good & Evil released via the PSN a couple of month's back. Can't say the same about an HD re-release of this game on the Wii U VC thou. =/
Now onto my top ten list of PS2 games. Let's start things off with number TEN.
Final Fantasy X & X-2
I can't decide between them tbh both games are really great. I love all of the characters in both titles as well as the story. Some FF fans don't like X-2 but personally I really enjoyed the refreshing take on the dress sphere's mechanic inherent in X2. There's also the sphere grid mechanic inherent in FFX; but tbh I like the dress sphere's better. XD

Final Famtasy 10 for Number 10, fitting, XD
Since I only played Final Fantasys 1-9, I never got to play 10. I would like to play it one day though.
