The Pokémon Company International has partnered with Build-A-Bear Workshop so you can make your own Pikachu

So this is a few days old now but the Pokémon Company International has partnered with Build-A-Bear Workshop to release an exclusive stuffed Pikachu in 2016. So it seems you can customize the Pikachu with a Pokéball hoodie. Including a sound chip and a Charizard costume if you purchase the Pikachu online. There's also a trading card as a gift with purchase.

I haven't heard anything about Build-A-Bear Workshop in years so I'm surprised to hear about it now. I've never been there but it sounds nice. The Pikachu sounds cute. It's good to hear that The Pokémon Company is expanding it's licensing.

Funny, they'll partner with Build-a-Bear, but won't put Pokémon costumes in Yoshi's Woolly World. XD
At least they're promoting Piakchu more.

I hate to ruin a gift idea, but I know a huge Pikachu fan who's my best friend & would love to get one as a Christmas gift. XD

I have only been to Build-A-Bear once. It's nice that there working with the Pokemon Company to help make the Pokemon series more popular though.

Probably because you have to pay for the build-a-bear but not for the costume if you already own the amiibo.
