Miitomo

^ Right? That seemed like a no brainer to me! But my guess is because they had been working on the mobile Animal Crossing game and maybe that's an element to that, and being able to change up your room would take away from the Animal Crossing game. Honestly that's really the only reason I could possibly think of. It just seems like you should be able to.

Yea, your probably right but with the miitomo character being your mii version of 'you' per-say, I'd be one to think you can decorate your room, even with the Animal Crossing one coming out.. Also, I get a weird feeling that when the Animal Crossing app that when it's released it's probably going to be the same way as that the one for the Wii U was when it is released, where you can pick out the folk who were in your village, & then vote on random polls.

I've thought about downloading the app but at the same time I figured it'd be boring after a while too. XD

An update is on the way that gives you something to do with your candy.

That seems kind of pointless, use candy to earn game tickets that can be used to get clothing or just more candy that can be used to earn more game tickets. What's the point in that?

Yea, at least if I could give candy to my friends I could use it up pretty easily. XD

It's something for Metroid fans at least.

Miitomo will end its service at 12:00 AM (PDT) on 5/9/2018, and we want to thank you for your support since the Miitomo app's launch.

The sale of Miitomo coins ended on 1/24/2018.

Until the end of the Miitomo service on 5/9, we're offering daily login bonuses of Miitomo coins and game tickets so that users can continue to play Miitomo Drop and use other features such as the Miitomo shop.

About the app after the end of service
If you launch the app after the end of service on 5/9, you'll see a message informing you that service has ended. You will no longer be able to use any of the app's features.
You will no longer be able to see your answers or messages in the app.
You will no longer be able to use items you've obtained in the app, such as clothing items, wallpapers, or posters.
You can transfer your Mii character to your Nintendo Account by linking it to Miitomo. (Its personality and other information will not be carried over.)
Sidekick Mii characters will be deleted. You can keep Sidekick Mii characters by saving them as a QR Code before the end of service on 5/9/2018 12:00 AM (PDT). They can then be transferred to Mii Maker on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems or the Wii U console.
You will not be able to view Miifotos, including Miifotos you have shared to your social media channels. If you want to save any Miifotos, you must save them to your smart device before 5/9/2018 12:00 AM (PDT).
Miitomo- themed icons and clothing items used in your Nintendo Account or the Super Mario Run game will not display after the service has ended.

While anyone could have seen this coming due to the promotion outfits stoping after the release of Fire Emblem Heroes it would be nice if Nintendo used some of the ideas Miitomo brought to the table for the next Mii game on Switch.

I feel like it has gotten quite a bit less popular, so it makes sense that they would shut down the service. I AM surprised that they're doing it though regardless, because it seemed like their staple mobile title at first, and shutting it down makes it seem like they're quitting on it or something.

tbf tho it wasn't like I actually really did anything substantial with it after the first few months; I was a token and ticket hoarder except for the special themed costume banners

Also oof to anyone who spent money to get more tokens or shudder tickets for Miitomo Drop (worse RNG than gacha lol)
