Should the "Version" in the title return to the main games?

So just about every main series Pokémon game has had "Version" in the title since the beginning. However, in Generation 6, Pokémon X and Y dropped it from the title. Same with the Ruby and Sapphire remakes, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Will this be a permanent change?

It is very small and I have almost never seen anyone say the "Version" in the titles anyways. I personally like the change. It's more simple. Plus the boxart to Black and White Version 2 sounds a little more awkward as sequels. "Version" just seems unnecessary. What do you think?

I honestly don't see why they had it to begin with. Nintendo themselves simply called it by the title without including "version" at the end, only including it in PR probably because it was copyrighted as Pokemon Red Version, etc. It's completely unnecessary so there's really no reason to bring it back.

Idk, I think it might return in future game installments when they get re-released as 3DS titles or something. XD
