Disney Also Not Hosting E3 Booth

Well it seems we're losing yet another E3 booth, with Disney having just confirmed they won't be holding one at E3 this year. However, they will have "additional direct to fan engagements through the summer this year."

Disney usually doesn't have quite as much at E3 as some other companies, specifically Activision who also won't be hosting a booth this year, but it is another weird one. It seems E3 is becoming a smaller event now.

I never even knew Disney even HAD a booth at E3, so their not having one this year isn't that big a deal since usually most gamers want to know whats releasing from other developers anyway.

I feel like E3 is going to suck this year and everyone is just doing there own thing now.

So now we have Activision and Disney without booths this year? Like Queen said, I also didn't know Disney even had one. That is new to me. Nintendo will likely be doing the Digital Event again this year so they probably won't be there, but they still reserve a booth though, right? It seems like E3 is getting smaller. This might mean something.

Could big indie companies buy these booths? That would be interesting to see.

^ Well Nintendo just hasn't been doing a press conference the past few years, they still have had a booth. I hope they don't decide to remove theirs as well, it's definitely the biggest event for their demos and whatnot of the year.

Disney definitely was one of the smaller booths but they still had one so it's strange to see them leaving it behind as well. But with most of the biggest game developers there I don't think E3 is going to suck like @Gameguy1996 said. Most of them still seem to be there.

Yeah, definitely seems as though E3 is getting smaller. I have heard rumours that they might try to keep it relevant by opening it up to members of the public:

Question is, would that be enough to bring back Disney, and the others who have recently abandoned it?

^ That would be amazing! I'd even consider going if I were closeby. Unfortunately I'm really far away so I don't really have a way of getting there. Still it'd be nice to have it be more accessible, it's a really cool event and only allowing certain people to come is just a bit disappointing.
