Mario Sports Superstars

A new Mario Sports game is coming to the 3DS in Sprng of 2017. What is it this time? Golf, Tennis, Strikers or Baseball? How about all of them with Horseback Riding added in.



While this seems like a nice game I feel like the games will be short and less enjoyable since they have to balance 5. At least there is online play though.

I like how it's all their major sports games in one, plus horseback riding. Maybe they're trying to throw in a Mario Kart-esque hype add-on?

Ooh looks really nice! I'm not a huge fan of most of the Mario sports games, but having a package with 5 that looks more robust and enjoyable than Sports Mix is definitely appealing to me. I might end up picking this one up!

Looks interesting, I'll buy it but I'm disappointed there's no dodgeball. That was the best thing from Mario Sports Mix.

Give me Toadette and the roster will be perfect in my opinion. That's all I really want. I'm surprised it's combining 4 of the major Mario Sports (Bleh, golf) into one. Horse riding and baseball look the most intriguing to me. The soccer is definitely no Mario Strikers but it stands out in it's own way. I hope the Lakitu umpire in baseball returns at least. I think this the first time Pom Pom will be playable if I'm not mistaken. I'll likely get it because I end up getting a lot of Mario spin-offs. Online play is a plus.

I loved Mario Sport Mix's Dodgeball! I just loved to play that and the bob-omb dodge mini-game as well. Definitely the best thing from Mario Sports Mix.

I just hope there's some unique flare to the games. I mean, Chance Shots seem to be back again for Tennis so that's crap, but the other sports too...

Both Namco and Camelot are behind this game.

I'm guessing Namco is behind Baseball and maybe Horseback Riding. It also seems like there might be an NX for based on the rating.

Camelot is behind both tennis and golf, which makes sense given that they developed both of those games for 3DS already, so I'm assuming Bandai-Namco is working on the other 3. Of course they could both be working together on the other 3.

Mario Sports Superstars will have Amiibo cards releasing alongside the game on March 24th!

I'm not too interested in Amiibo cards, or really most Amiibo in general for that matter, not to mention the fact that I don't particularly want this game too much, so I highly doubt I'll end up getting them. XD But it's cool for fans.

Sadly they seem to be mostly reused art. Of course I will likely try to get them all or at least one of each character. If we fact in the 18 characters playable where looking at 90 plus an extra 10 with the sidekick characters most likely.
