Suggestions

This is a bit of a silly suggestion (but it never hurts, you don't know what's silly until you speak out), but perhaps during certain special events (holiday seasons, TNFS anniversary, days Raz/Fluffy decide to be special days) could the store have some promotions? Like maybe "Username Changes 20% off this weekend" or something. :p

And maybe some means to convert forum post count to member points (won't ever work since posting gives points anyway lol)

What about providing a theme changer?
I would like to see this forum with a different theme other than the normal blue and white.

We have done that before, just not in a while...we already will be doing free username changes for December, but perhaps I'll continue to do something similar with items in the store on sale at certain times. And not gonna bother with the second suggestion, posting already gives you points.

Actually I'm working on that because some people do want a darker theme as well as the classic theme. When I do have another theme, I will likely add a theme switcher.

For the member rankings, I always thought it was weird that Average Joe is something and not a Nintendo related character...

May I suggest possibly replacing that with Toad or Samus?

I'd like to suggest that tnfs holds a secret santa for the forum. Those interested signs up in a thread, with rules saying everyone is happy with who they get & the gift they receive. A time line is given & boom: tnfs secret santa topic is born!

Also, what about introducing a like/dislike system here? It had one in the previous forum, and it was used pretty nicely.

It also bothered me that he used that when making them, I totally suck at it, but I'll see if anyone wants to recreate that as Samus, or even recreate every one of the user ranks with different characters I request.

Well, it was abused when we had it here previously, so I decided to remove it. I probably won't bring the system back...but maybe.

Zero, but we have nicer and more civilized members now.

Actually I was going to volunteer my services for this purpose; as my Christmas gift to the entirety of the forum members & staff. You've seen the quality of my work so you know the end results will be good.

Hopefully I can get the requested ranks done before Christmas & all. If not it'll be a late gift anyway. ;3

How about making a newsletter which tells about the various things happening here?

Hm, well that is a good idea, although I'm not quite sure in what way I could do that. When you thought of the idea, were you thinking we'd just post it in the Forum Stuff board?

Usually a newsletter is sent out via emails to the members who've joined; if I remember right. I think maybe a facebook newsletter page would do better & get tnfs more views really. But that's just my two points worth. xp
