Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Direct
I think the new content is great for Amiibo and New 3DS owners, but for me personally it isn't going to do much to get me more interested. (I love the game so I will surely continue playing at some point regardless, but not because of this update) I do find it interesting that they're porting stuff from Amiibo Festival that still fits this game. It really seems like they're trying to put as much Wii U content as they can on 3DS so it doesn't go to "waste."

Oh, it's well worth it alright. More so since I was able to get W.Link to move in & a folk I don't like who's in my town to move OUT. I am so thrilled about this part of the update I could fan girl scream. xp

The best part was the person in the KK Slider outfit. I also like how you can also use your Legend of Zelda series amiibo and the extra storage room is the best part of the update.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Direct
There's a few more details that have been discovered which weren't mentioned in the Direct, and they're pretty nice!
I love that they're updating all the little things that annoyed me about New Leaf. It still ended up being one of my favorite 3DS games, but the fact that they went back in over 3 years later (4 in Japan!) to update it with these fixes in addition to the new content is amazing.
- using the Mii Mask makeup item now colors all exposed body parts
- ability to sit down on big rocks found around villages
- floor cushions are laid out in houses
- ability to shake trees while holding a one-handed piece of equipment
- place objects on top of certain pieces of furniture
- hang clothing on the walls
- upload screenshots directly from the game
- Villagers give a full week’s notice before they ship on out of town
- choose who to kick out of a town if they manage to convince a visitor to move in longterm

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Direct
I found out about the rock siting by pressing the wrong button, the clothing on the wall was something the meow tickets told you and having full control over who lives in your town is great. Sadly only being able to use one amiibo per day is a bit of a letdown.
