by I already went ahead & claimed mine, but so every one here knows you can now claim your unique Nintendo Account User ID for the Switch. Users who already have Nintendo Accounts may not yet have Nintendo Account User IDs, which explains to rush to claim one.

I'd go ahead & get one even if you don't plan to get a Switch day one. I did because I don't want to have to add an 01 or 08 to the end of the username I choose to go with, which is usually queenzelda & with Breath of the Wild I'm sure a lot of new Switch owners will probably make a ton of Legend of Zelda usernames.
