It does seem like quite a few 2nd games in video games series try the open world style before they figure out if they will make the point a to b or the open world style the regular for the series. I'm also glad to hear that the 2nd game is also good.

Jing & I have made it all the way through Deep Space Nine to season 6 & soon we'll be through the series since the series has only 7 seasons. I've seen Deep Space Nine long before I meet Jing, but some stuff I find I remember easily while some other things I seem to have completely forgot about. ^^; But, it's still been interesting to watch again. More so since I like the characters & enjoy how the story seems to be going. :3

Something I was thinking about today was the following:

So... Why is it that console gamers have to 'suck it up' & have pay to play for online games? PC gamers can play any game they want if it has multiplayer for free. But if you want to be able to play that very same muliti-player online game you have to pay for it on the consoles, which I for one will never do. I don't honestly see why I have to suck up & pay for anything. I don't get any game that I want out of it every month, the console dealer decides what I get & that's final. Well, what if I wanted to choose what game I wanted for free not what is 'given to me' as a 'thank you'? I mean I understand that Sony/M$ are using the money to keep the servers running but a lot of the games that are offered 'for free' I don't honestly care for or own already. Not only that, but I feel that I'm being ripped off, yes you get the free game but once your subscription goes away so too does the free game you had access too. So, in the end you can only 'keep' the game given to you if your paying for the subscription. For me, it's not really worth it. More so since I tend not to play very many games online anyway. If the companies offered me games I actually wanted that I could choose from as my free game I might consider it more. But until then, even if it were to happen I doubt I'll ever be one of those who'll pay to play my games online for consoles.

I always saw it as the free game was for being online already, since if you're paying so much per month just to hope for a game you want, just get the game you want. Though it is odd the choices they give you almost always are the ones of you already have, you don't care for or you've never heard of.

When it comes to the free games on Xbox Live and Playstation Plus is mostly about it's mostly about paying if you enjoy any of there online gamed while the free indie games seem to be a small bonus that most don't care about.

Idk, I think that for me it just seems like the console developers are more money hungry. Where as the pc gamers who will pitch a fit just to make sure their games are free to play online, the console gamers just 'suck it up' & pay up for it. In the end I think it's all in how you look at it I suppose. [/shrugs]


Any who, Dragon Quest XI was announced last week to be releasing to the west. Atmo there is no concrete release date, nor any info on which consoles it's going to release to though. sauce

I have reason to believe that I'll be finished with Miitopia before the end of the week at the pace I'm going. I have no idea what I'm going to be playing when I beat it tbh. Who knows, maybe I'll pop in my RPG Maker Fes game & get back to RPG making.

How long is the game? I hope you enjoy making your own RPG in RPG Maker Fes.

The Miitopia game seems to have lasted me about two weeks. After I beat it, there was still more stuff to do. The only problem I seem to have with it is that in order to see the ending you have to take on the boss again. I guess that's fine, but it'd be nice to watch it from a movie gallery or something.

The Monster Hunter: Stories demo is also really good & seems to have a lot more game to it then most demo's do from how the demo played. There are a few side-quests left I didn't fool with since I thought the demo would be longer then it was, so I plan to go back in & do them. I mean, I might as well since I can. xD

Having to beat the final boss again just to see the ending does suck. as for the Stories demo it is Monster Hunter so a long demo is to be expected.

Tbh I can't wait for MH:S to release in September, but at the same time some new Switches will be launching. More so for Wal-Mart since is going to be getting Splatoon 2 Switch bundles exclusively. sauce The only things I don't like about it are the price point ($380) & the fact that you don't get a physical copy of the game; just a 'download' code for it.

Also, I know I haven't been posting around on a few forums I'm a member of for the last few days.. But I've been really sick with the stomach flu & have been trying to get better since I caught it sometime after going to my 4yr old nephew's bday party. >.<

The case does go for $20 so it's really the same value. If someone wants the retail version so badly they would likely just get the game outside of the bundle. I hope you feel better soon Queen and I hope the person who passed it stays home the next time there that sick.

What I find funny is that it took my only checking three stores to find a Switch today. Meijer, Best Buy & then I was FINALLY was able to find it at Toys R Us. I almost cried seeing they had at least 4-5 in stock. I was really stoked! I am so glad I don't have to find one when Super Mario Odyssey hits the store shelves. ^^;

Congrats on finding one and this month is really the calm before the soldout storm due to Super Mario Odyssey.
